A
hearty smile is simply the reflex tango of the zygomaticus major muscles (the
muscles of the cheekbone) and the orbicularis oculi (the face muscle that encircles
the eye beneath the eyelid). It begins in our sensory corridors for it’s either
the ear collects a whispered word, the eye spots an old friend on the station
platform or the hand feels the gentle pressure of another hand amongst others.
However, this emotional data funnels to the brain, exciting the left anterior
temporal region in particular, then smolders to the surface of the face where
the above mentioned muscles are roused into action. The first tugs the lips
upward while the later encircles the eye socket and squeezes the corners into
the shape of a crow’s foot. It is usually a quick involuntary action that lasts
from two third of a second to four seconds. Sounds vague and
technical right? Well that’s the hidden anatomical description of a smile you
may not have known.
Other
muscles can sure stimulate a smile but it is only the amazing involuntary tango
of the aforementioned muscles that produce a genuine expression of positive
emotions. WHY?
Because,
this Special Tango requires a squeaky clean, pure, pristine, gleaming,
wholesome, innocent and flawless trigger to come to existence.

smile is therefore the special tango of our inert facial muscles brought to
life by all the beautiful things that excites us, brings us happiness and gives
us joy!
These
beautiful things, our reasons to smile are indeed innumerable if we wisely
maintain a grateful disposition amidst life’s bottlenecks. Therefore everyone
who desires a stainless smile must discover and hold on to the people and
things that inspire them, the people they love and are loved by, the form of
work the enjoy, the memories they adore and relish, the positive healthy
activities that excites their mental status and all the amazing things they
hope for and look forward to.
More
so healthy people are happy people, and so taking care of one’s health and
helping others consciously take care and responsibility of their health is an
amazing reason to smile. This year we would be inspiring, fostering and
celebrating the power of healthy smiles.

conditions of the greater percentage of our population.
